CNYWBA Pro Brono Committee Meeting
- Join the Pro Bono Committee! This committee is responsible for steering the direction of the Vera House Legal clinic. Your feedback as a volunteer attorney is vital to implementing future changes and improvements to the clinic.
- The Pro Bono Committee is also seeking volunteer attorneys to staff the Monday Night Legal Clinic at Vera House. The clinic enables domestic violence survivors to talk on-on-one with an attorney about various legal issues. Attorneys of any expertise and background are welcome and clinic training will be provided in the fall.
- Attention Volunteer Attorneys who currently work at the Monday Night Legal Clinic at Vera House!! Do you have any suggestions for improving the clinic experience, training programs or anything else that might be helpful? If so, we want your feedback.
- Vera House would like to provide informational sessions on various topics related to divorce and its clients.

This month the Central New York Women's Bar Association is hosting a cooking class on Saturday March

Brown Bag Luncheon on preventing unlawful harassment in law firms.
The luncheon is free to all CNYWBA members and will be held at Bond, Schoeneck and King, PLLC. CNYWBA will provide beverages and dessert.
We will participate in a teleconference on preventing unlawful harassment (described below) and then have a 30 minute group discussion on community standards in Central New York.
The teleconference is entitled, "Preventing Unlawful Harassment in a Law Firm." The 60 minute teleconference will cover:

The 23rd Annual Judicial Reception on Thursday, October 7, 2004, was a great success. Special thanks to Kim Zimmer for doing such a
