The CNYWBA’s Judicial Screening Committee, co-chaired by Martin Lynn, Esq. and Michelle Rudderow, Esq., is comprised of members of the CNYWBA with diverse experience and practice areas.  The Committee conducted interviews and did extensive reviews of the qualifications of candidates who chose to participate in the screening process.  The rating process considers each candidate’s judicial temperament, legal ability and experience, analytical skills, impartiality and freedom from bias and prejudice, industriousness, diligence and promptness, and general reputation, character, fitness, and attitude towards women’s issues. There are three (3) possible ratings, which are based upon a numerical score that each candidate received as a result of the Committee’s review:  (from highest to lowest) Commended, Qualified, and Not Qualified.
