In the spirit of the holidays, we are encouraging attendees to bring a $10-25 cash or check donation for Blessings in a Backpack, a national nonprofit organization working with the Syracuse City School District to provide food to low-income elementary school kids over the weekend. The mission of Blessings in a Backpack is to combat childhood hunger by feeding students seven days a week. To learn more about the Blessings in a Backpack program at the Syracuse City School District, click here. Check donations should be made out to “Blessings in a Backpack” with “Syracuse City School District #1912” in the memo line.
