CNYWBA Co-Sponsors Event for Summer Interns

The Central New York Women's Bar Association (CNYWBA) is proud to co-sponsor an upcoming event for summer interns, summer associates, and new attorneys in the Syracuse area.  The event will be July 29, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the CNY Philanthropy Center in Syracuse.  The event is also sponsored by the Onondaga County Bar Association's Diversity and Inclusion Committee and the Volunteer Lawyer Project's Q-LAW LGBT Legal Clinic.

The event will include a diverse panel of lawyers from the Syracuse legal community talking about their experiences and what makes our region a great place to live and practice law, followed by questions and answers and a social hour.  Panelists will include retired Syracuse City Court Judge Langston McKinney; Sally Curran, Executive Director of the Volunteer Lawyers Project of Onondaga County and CNYWBA Vice President; Onondaga County Assistant District Attorney Romana Lavalas; Lanessa Owens, Deputy Secretary of Intergovernmental Affairs for the New York State Assembly and founding Executive Director of The William Herbert Johnson Bar Association; and James Williams, a Staff Attorney with Legal Services of Central New York.
